Overview: The Morkie (Yorktese) is a
cross between a
Yorkshire Terrier and a Maltese resulting in a puppy that is very
loving, attentive, devoted and a bit of a comedian at times.

Weight: The average weight of a standard Morkie can range between 8 to
15 pounds. Our "Cherubs" can range from 3 to 7 pounds.
Height: The average height of a standard Morkie can range between 8 to
12 inches. The "Cherubs" can range between 6 to 9 inches.
Color: The Morkies come in an array of shades and combinations of
black, brown & white as well as solid colors.
Coat: A Morkie's coat will usually be very long, soft and flowing.
Care
& Grooming: The Morkie will need to be shaved or brushed
frequently to control matting.
Shedding:Morkie are low to non-shedding dogs.
Behavior: Morkies have a huge personality. They may crave and even
demand attention from their family. They are very dedicated to their
family. They are ideal
as a family dog as well as a watch dog. They are very brave and tend to
inherit a sense of fearlessness as well as energy from the Maltese.
Character/Personality: Morkies are loving, devoted and brave little
dogs. They love children and do well with other pets. They can be
little comedians to gain attention.
Training: Morkies are intelligent and eager to please with positive
reinforcement and will learn quickly.

to expel the penned up energy.
Living arrangements: Morkies are suitable for apartments, condos or
houses with the understanding they need to have outlets for all the

in will keep them happy.
